Speaking on 22 September 2025 at the Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan Exhibition Grounds – Bombambili, Geita, during the official opening of the 8th Mineral Technologies Exhibition, the Prime Minister highlighted the sector’s expanding contribution to the national economy. He noted that advancements in governance, enhanced revenue collection systems, and increased local and foreign investment have continued to strengthen the sector’s role and impact year after year.
